Love and Loss By Margaret Cross is a collection of fine modern mourning, memento mori, and sentimental jewelry, handmade in our Brooklyn studio using 100% recycled metals and ethically sourced stones.

After graduating from Pratt Institute in 2007 and suffering a great personal tragedy Margaret found the need to create pieces heavily inspired by her experience. Finding herself learning to navigate life after profound loss, the sudden death of her best friend, she found a deep affinity to mourning jewelry and its connection to others coping with death and the grieving. Drawing from her background in printmaking, each piece is meticulously made by hand and sculptural, celebrating it's irregularities unique to its wearer.
